
Review of Fertility Services in Northern Ireland
A chance to have your say.
On Tuesday 21st October 2008 the health minister Michael Mc Gimpsey announced the launch of a public consultation on publicly funded fertility treatment in Northern Ireland.
The public has an opportunity to comment on:
• changes to the upper age limit for treatment for women using donated eggs,
• changes regarding relationship status of the couple,
• changes to waiting list management and
• prioritization of funding with reference to waiting list and the number of publicly funded cycles
Responses need to be with the Department no later than the 13th January 2009. Please not that in keeping with the Department’s openness policy responses may be made available to the public. If you do not want your response to be used in this way or if you prefer it to be used anonymously please indicate this when responding.
