Support

One of the most difficult things about needing any kind of fertility treatment is that there are no guarantees, just lots of uncertainty.   Family and friends may try to help, but sometimes that’s not enough, or worse can make it even harder.

We don’t want you to feel isolated or lonely, because we are always here to offer our support. Infertility Network UK can help in many different ways.  Sometimes it may be enough for you to receive your quarterly magazine. At other times you may want to access the support network we provide, or to share your experiences by getting to know other members through the forums or by meeting at local groups and social events. Non-members can read our forums and have access to the fact sheets listed on the site.

Information about infertility support groups can be found in your members magazine, and informal meetings can be arranged through the Find a Friend forum on the website.

We have more than 100 dedicated volunteers who run our Helplines – each has experience of one particular aspect of infertility or treatment. Number updated in each magazine.

We have a network of Regional Organisers who can provide information and support at a local level.

Calling 08701 188 088 out of hours gives details for the current Link-Liner. These volunteers ensure that whenever you are in need, there is always someone to talk to 24 hours a day.

We are able to offer support at every stage of your journey – from finding out you may need assistance to conceive, to waiting, progressing through treatment and moving on.

Even after successful treatment, we’re still here to support you with the Pregnant After Treatment forum where you can talk, make friends and arrange to get together.

If you’re moving on to adoption, you can share your experiences as you move towards your family by a different path.

Regular facilitated online chats provide a safe haven to talk in 'real time' a virtual support group where you an just be yourself.

Or if you’re moving towards living involuntarily childless, you can access the support and resources of a charity who knows what that means, by joining More to Life.

"Thank you! I have found somewhere I belong, no matter what happens."
