About US
Studies estimate that 1 in 6 couples seek specialist help in trying for a child. Yet, despite the high numbers involved, many couples find that no one else seems to understand their situation and experience isolation and loneliness.
However – you are not alone
At Infertility Network UK we aim to ease the feelings of isolation on both an emotional and practical level. Members of Infertility Network UK often tell us that using our services helps them to cope.
“It has helped me to feel ‘normal’ again when I know others feel as I do. I have found it makes me more positive”
We are open to anyone from the day they first think they may have a fertility problem, through investigations, treatment and beyond. We also provide help and support to those ending treatment and those facing involuntary childlessness through our More to Life network.
As well as providing these essential services, Infertility Network UK represents patient views throughout the field of infertility. We work closely with all the relevant professional bodies including The Human Fertilisation and Embryology Authority, The British Fertility Society, The Fertility Nurses Group, The Department of Health and many more. Our interaction with these organisations helps ensure that patients have a voice that is clearly heard.
We are YOUR charity!
We offer help and support to everyone, and if you join us, we can provide a wider range of services which will help you make informed decisions. We understand what you are going through, and can offer practical and emotional support.
Are you having difficulty accessing any NHS treatment? We lead the National Infertility Awareness Campaign, which fights for equality of access to NHS funded fertility treatment. Our work in this area is absolutely vital, and we want to hear from you if you are experiencing any problems trying to get NHS treatment.
